Moldovan authorities recovered wreckage of a jet‑powered Geran‑4 UAV near the village of Brănești, about 25 km from the Ukrainian border, after the drone crashed and detonated on impact. Ukrainian‑linked monitoring sources reported a Shahed‑type drone entering Moldovan airspace earlier the same day, but the only confirmed intrusion was the Geran‑4 debris.
